Terms & Conditions

By accessing this website or booking any services with Pete Wilson Photography, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clarity, protect both parties, and support a smooth working relationship.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website or proceed with any bookings.

1. Services Provided

Pete Wilson provides professional black and white photography services, including but not limited to:

  • Portrait photography

  • Brand/editorial photography

  • Street/documentary projects

  • Commissioned work for individuals and businesses

All services are subject to availability and will be confirmed via written agreement or invoice.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Bookings are secured upon written confirmation and receipt of a deposit (where applicable).

  • Payment terms will be outlined in your project proposal or invoice. Typically, a 30–50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date.

  • Final payment is due before delivery of final images, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal (fees may apply for certain methods).

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the shoot may be eligible for a partial refund (excluding deposit).

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the shoot are non-refundable, unless due to exceptional circumstances at Pete’s discretion.

  • You may reschedule your session with at least 72 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

  • In the rare event that Pete needs to cancel or reschedule, all payments will be refunded or rescheduled in full.

4. Turnaround and Delivery

  • Image delivery timelines will be outlined at the time of booking (typically within 2–4 weeks).

  • Final images will be delivered digitally via a secure link or gallery.

  • Unless otherwise agreed, all images are delivered in high-resolution JPEG format. RAW files are not supplied.

5. Use of Images & Copyright

  • Pete Wilson retains full copyright of all images created, as is standard under intellectual property law.

  • Clients receive a licence for personal or agreed commercial use, depending on the project scope.

  • Images may not be edited, altered, or sold without prior written permission.

  • Pete may use selected images for portfolio, website, and promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing prior to the shoot.

6. Client Responsibility

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that all necessary permissions (location access, model releases, etc.) are obtained before the shoot.

  • Please arrive on time and prepared for your session. Delays may impact the time available for shooting and overall results.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • While every effort is made to deliver high-quality results, creative outcomes can vary based on many factors.

  • In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or unforeseen circumstances that prevent delivery of services, liability is limited to a full refund or rescheduling of the session.

  • Pete Wilson is not liable for loss of images due to client error (e.g., accidental deletion after delivery).

8. Website Use

  • All content on this website — including images, text, and branding — is the intellectual property of Pete Wilson Photography and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

  • Unauthorised use of any images may result in legal action.

9. Privacy

10. Changes to These Terms

Pete Wilson Photography reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date.
